4 ways to reduce sugar that are keto-friendly!

1. Reduce added sugar in your home baking.

Swap out sugar and replace it with SweetLeaf®. You can bake with SweetLeaf products like our Organic Granular Monk Fruit Sweetener, or Sweet Drops Vanilla Crème. These sweeteners are non-glycemic, zero calorie, and completely sugar-free, so you can still enjoy your favorite treats without so much sugar. We have hundreds of recipes like this Brownie or Sugar Free Cookies Dough that make it easy to indulge in your sweet tooth craving without the sugar. You can use the conversion calculator to see just how much SweetLeaf® to use to replace sugar in your baking.

2. Replace sugar and syrups in coffee with SweetLeaf® Sweet Drops.

SweetLeaf® Sweet Drops are an easy swap for coffee creamers and syrups. Keep a Vanilla Crème glass dropper at your home so they are easy to add to your morning brew or toss a Caramel squeezable bottle in your purse to take with you on the go. With flavors like Caramel Macchiato, chocolate, hazelnut, and best-seller Clear. Many Lattes you buy from coffee shops are loaded with sugar, this simple swap can cut out over 100 calories just from sugar!.

3. Stay hydrated with zero sugar Water Enhancers

Having a hard time cutting out juices, sports beverages or other drinks loaded with added sugar? Add Water Drops to your water bottle and flavor your water with zero sugar! This is the tastiest way to stay hydrated. You can even add some to some sparkling water for an easy mocktail.

4. Swap out full sugar soda for Sweet Drops.

In the mood for a soda? We all get the craving! But soda is one of the biggest culprits to added sugar in our daily diets. 1 - 12oz can of soda can have up to 39g of added sugar, that's nearly 150 calories from sugar. Why not try Sweet Drop flavors like ColaRoot Beer, and Grape to make a soda that is zero sugar and zero calories. Make your own soda by adding 5-8 drops per 8oz to club soda or filling a soda machine bottle with water, carbonate the water, pour over ice, and enjoy!
