Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme
4 tart but firm apples, peeled, cored and cut into 8 wedges (per apple)
1 tsp. coarse salt (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. In large saucepan over medium-high heat, melt butter, thyme and SweetLeaf® 50% Reduced Calorie Cane Sugar.
  3. Turn off the heat and toss in apples.
  4. Stir to coat apples in butter mixture.
  5. Remove apple slices and arrange in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet.
  6. Roast for 20-30 minutes until apples caramelize on both sides, flipping once halfway through.
  7. Sprinkle with salt and let cool.
  8. Enjoy!
