Katherine Jenkins, below, has put the boot in to ex-fiance Gethin Jones after an odd story about her toes thrust her into the headlines last week.
The saga started when Jones took a call from a listener to his Hits Radio show – which turned out to be his sister – who made the bizarre suggestion that he dumped Katherine because her toes were so long.
When I brought it up with the Welsh singer, 37, at the Classic Brit Awards, she said with a knowing smile: ‘My toes are my new partner’s fifth favourite part of my body. You can work out what the rest are!’
Fans feared the worst when Just A Minute host Nicholas Parsons missed his Radio 4 show for the first time in 50 years recently, but I’m happy to report that the 94-year-old is fighting fit.
